The standard model in solar lead generation is volume over quality. A homeowner fills out a generic form, their details get sold to three, four, sometimes five solar companies. Everyone races to dial first. The homeowner gets bombarded by strangers they never agreed to hear from, and by the time you call, they've already spoken to two competitors and stopped answering the phone.
The economics of that model only work for the company selling the leads. For the solar business buying them, it's a numbers game that gets more expensive every quarter - and every competitor in your area is playing the same game with the same leads from the same sources.
