How we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. We've kept this as plain as possible.
QuoteLeads ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. Here's what matters most before the full detail.
Account information includes your full name, business name and ABN/ACN (if applicable), email, phone number, and job title. Lead information - when you use the platform - includes customer contact details, project details, communication history, and notes. Support communications include messages you send us, survey responses, and feedback. We do not record phone calls.
Usage data such as pages visited, features used, time on platform, click patterns, device type, OS, browser, IP address, and referral source. Also technical data including log files, error reports, performance metrics, and cookie data (see Section 08).
We receive transaction confirmations from our payment processor when you buy something. We do not currently offer CRM or calendar integrations, so we do not receive data from those sources.
We process your information to provide and improve the platform, communicate with you, and meet our legal obligations.
The Australian Privacy Act does not use the "lawful basis" framework found in European law. We set out below the reasons we handle your information, so our purposes are clear either way.
QuoteLeads is an Australian business, but the systems we use to run it are hosted overseas. Your personal information, including lead data, is stored and processed outside Australia. Australian Privacy Principle 8 requires us to tell you this and name the countries involved, so they are all listed below.
Under APP 8 we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we remain accountable to you for how they handle it. Once information is held overseas it may also be subject to the laws of that country. If you would prefer your enquiry not to be handled this way, contact us at contact@quoteleads.com.au and we will arrange an alternative.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, as required by Australian Privacy Principle 11. In practice that means:
We do not claim any certification, audit, or formal security standard beyond this.
We keep account and lead data for as long as your account is open and for as long as we need it to run the service. We do not operate to a fixed deletion schedule, so we are not going to state one here.
Financial records such as invoices and payments are kept for the period Australian tax and company law requires. Analytics data is held by Google Analytics under the retention period set in that product.
You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time. Email contact@quoteleads.com.au and we will action it, other than anything we are legally required to keep.
Cookies are small text files that help our platform function and let us analyse usage. We use them across two categories.
We do not currently display a cookie consent banner, so analytics and advertising tags load when you open a page on this site. You can control them using the tools below, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Blocking these will not affect your ability to use the site or submit an enquiry.
Regardless of location, you have the following rights over your personal information.
Update information directly in your account settings. For all other requests, email contact@quoteleads.com.au with your name, account email, and the specific right you're exercising. We'll verify your identity, respond within 30 days (extendable to 60 days for complex requests), and won't charge a fee for most requests.
QuoteLeads is a B2B platform designed for professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover we have, we'll delete it immediately. Contact contact@quoteleads.com.au if you have concerns.
For your business and account information - company details, contact info, billing data, platform usage, and communications with us - we decide how and why your data is processed.
For your customer (lead) data - their contact details, project information, and communications - you are the data controller. We process it only on your instructions.
QuoteLeads is an Australian business and we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Some information is processed overseas by the providers listed in Section 05; where that happens we remain accountable to you under APP 8.
To exercise these rights or lodge a complaint, contact contact@quoteleads.com.au. We'll investigate and respond within 30 days.
You can refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), the regulator responsible for privacy in Australia. Visit oaic.gov.au, call 1300 363 992, or write to GPO Box 5218, Sydney NSW 2001. You do not need our permission to contact them.
If a breach occurs affecting your personal information, we will investigate and contain the issue immediately, notify you within 72 hours of discovery where required by law, notify relevant supervisory authorities, and provide clear information about what happened, what data was affected, what we're doing about it, and what you should do.
Report security concerns to contact@quoteleads.com.au - urgent issues receive a response within 24 hours.
We don't currently respond to Do Not Track signals as there is no universal standard. Use the opt-out tools in Section 08 to control tracking. If DNT standards are established we'll update this policy accordingly.
We comply with the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth). By providing your mobile number you give 1:1 named consent to receive service-related messages from QuoteLeads. Your details are collected and handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). To opt out at any time email contact@quoteleads.com.au or update your preferences in account settings. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, new features, or legal requirements. Updates take effect on the date listed at the top. For material changes we'll notify you by email and post a notice on the platform. Previous versions are available on request.
